Here’s what our clients say:
Canbury Insights, together with Acrux, supported PRI in the company selection framework for Spring, its stewardship initiative for nature. This work was crucial for the design of the initiative, and Canbury’s desk research, large language models and expert interviews resulted in an impressive, in-depth methodology that has been received positively within PRI and by external stakeholders. In addition, it was a pleasure to work with such a professional and responsive team.
Tim Steinweg, Head of Stewardship – Nature, Principles for Responsible Investment
It’s great working with the Canbury team. We’ve found them to be experts in their fields and responsive to our needs. We will continue to partner with Canbury on TCFD reporting, Stewardship Code reporting, and more
Nikolaj Babic, Sustainable Investment Senior Manager, J O Hambro Capital Management
We’re delighted to partner with Canbury to provide our clients with in-house sustainability consultancy. This partnership allows us to better support our clients in all areas of their sustainability journey and remain 10 minutes ahead of the curve. We’ve also found their team to be really knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with.
Martin MacConnol, CEO, Wardour
We worked with Canbury on several time-sensitive, complex policy projects for the PRI policy team. The work was always delivered on time, and very effective in both execution and collaboration with partners. Canbury not only provided the expected products but also proposed recommendations beyond the original scope, helping us devise new tools to support our signatories’ policy engagement.
Margarita Pirovska, Director of Policy, Principles for Responsible Investment
We enjoy a strong working relationship with Canbury on climate and nature reporting and climate scenario analysis. We’re impressed with their expertise, technical knowledge and the scale of work the team has delivered.
Emine Isciel, Head of Climate and Environment, Storebrand
Canbury fills an important need for us, and undoubtedly for others – for expert advice on the increasingly complex and fast-moving sustainable finance landscape across Europe. As we prepare to present our Sustainable Equity Strategy to clients abroad, Ben and Will have provided invaluable advice about our alignment with regulatory requirements and how best to communicate our approach and process. They’ve made high-leverage introductions, each of which comes to reflect the goodwill they’ve accumulated through years of success in the field. On top of all that, they’re a genuine pleasure to work with.
Dan Abbasi, Principal and Portfolio Manager, Sustainable Equity Strategy, Douglass Winthrop Advisors
Canbury supported us with an all-company training focused on our ESG regulatory requirements (TCFD, SFDR, SDR etc.), the requirements of our clients, as well as the growing EU regulation for portfolio companies. The team were very well informed, skilled at stripping back headline noise, and able to address the various levels of knowledge of attendees. By inviting questions and debate, they facilitated an engaging session. We would not hesitate to work with them again.
Charlotte Dicker, Responsible Investment Lead, Oldfield Partners
Thank you to the Canbury Insights team for their fantastic work on helping us synthesise the social factors taskforce consultation outcomes in a super efficient way. It was really well done helping the industry make progress on social factors.

Canbury provided our firm-wide sustainability training this year and it was a great success, informative and enjoyable. They have a tailored approach which took into consideration our needs and perspective. They are also very action-oriented and worked within a quick timeframe. I would highly recommend Canbury to firms serious about ESG integration in investment decisions and understanding how to support better outcomes for all stakeholders.

And in September 2023, Canbury and Acrux Partners were appointed by the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment to develop the company selection methodology for PRI’s stewardship initiative on nature: “Spring”. We conducted an assessment of the policy frameworks on six global biomes and eight commodities that contribute to deforestation, assessing both the supply and demand sides of commodity production.
